Speaks Chapels, a nationally-known funeral home in Independence, Missouri (a suburb of Kansas City) seeks professional help with our three-location operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced funeral director (or an exceptionally-talented recent mortuary school graduate) looking to take advantage of a comparatively low cost-of-living ratio, great pay, and all the advantages of the Kansas City area, including major sports, art museums, great restaurants, awesome music venues, and either suburban OR urban living.

We are looking for a funeral director who can obtain reciprocal licensing in Missouri or who is already Missouri licensed. An embalming license is a plus, but not required. Our team is building breadth and depth with an eye to the future. We will conduct initial telephone interviews for suitability, tone of voice, and ability to successfully handle phone conversations. Those that are selected will then be scheduled for one or more Zoom interviews designed to allow a candidate to impress us with their presence, personality, and ability. Finalists will be interviewed in person at our expense.
