Position Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Meeting with and assisting families during times of loss
- Coordinating funeral, memorial, graveside, and cremation services
- Preparing decedents for visitation and services
- Embalming and restorative art
- Removal and transfer of decedents
- Completing vital statistics and required documentation
- Assisting with aftercare and follow-up services
- Participating in on-call rotations
- Maintaining facilities, vehicles, and equipment
- Supporting community outreach and public relations efforts
Qualifications
Funeral Director Intern
- Currently enrolled in or graduated from an accredited mortuary science program
- Eligible for internship/licensure requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Qualifications
Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Montana and/or North Dakota
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to exceptional family service
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
