You will need an active and In Good Standing Funeral Directing and Embalming License with the state of Georgia.
- Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner.
 - Care for the deceased respectfully while performing a variety of tasks, which include removals and transfers; embalming; dressing; cosmetizing; and casketing. Strong embalming skills required.
 - Arrange for and oversee interment or cremation of human remains.
 - Prepare necessary legal paperwork, including contracts, authorizations, death certificates, and transit permits.
 - Assist families wishing to prearrange or prepay funeral arrangements.
 - Good understanding of computers and standard software including, MS Word, MS Excel, and Electronic Death Registry System
 - Ability to serve and maintain several families each time.
 - Excellent communication skills
