Khadijah L. McDaniel is the Academic Dean and Program Director at Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of funeral service professionals. A licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in the state of Georgia, she brings a strong blend of professionalism, compassion, and leadership to both her students and the families she serves.
A native of Gray Court, South Carolina, Ms. McDaniel is a proud graduate of Claflin University, where she earned a B.S. in Business Management. She later completed her funeral service education at Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, the very institution she now helps lead.
Her professional background includes years of experience in the funeral service industry, as well as roles with Fortune 500 companies in recruiting, customer service, branding, and administration. She is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) and a Certified Crematory Operator.
Ms. McDaniel is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Funeral Directors & Morticians Association (NFDMA), National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), Academy of Graduate Embalmers, Georgia Funeral Service Practitioners (GFSP), and the 9th District.
