Funeral Director

Sunset Memorial Park, Funeral Home and Crematory is seeking a full-time Funeral Director in Dothan, Alabama. We are seeking a team player to join our growing team of caring and progressive professionals. This position manages all aspects of funeral arrangement from conferring with family members to preparing funeral services for final disposition. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized and compassionate associate who wants to help families as they journey through the grief process. We take pride in planning personalized services to create unique celebrations of life. Our most important mission is taking care of families and fulfilling their ceremony requests. The successful candidate should have excellent communication and time management skills.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

· Licensed Funeral Director for at least 2 years
· Must be able to reciprocate license to Alabama if not licensed in-state
· Effectively meet with families, explain all options, set up and prepare for visitations and services.
· Create Statement of Goods and Services and collect all monies owed.
· On-call rotations
· No embalming required
· Perform all other related and assigned tasks
· Be a team player

Requirements:

· State of Alabama Funeral Director License or be able to reciprocate to Alabama for funeral directors license
