Funeral Director / Intern

The Reiff Family Center, Inc. is a growing and progressive funeral home & crematory looking to add a full-time Funeral Director/Intern to join our caring and professional staff. We are looking for someone that possesses attention to detail, a dedication to helping others, and has strong ethical values.

Duties will include but are not limited to, conducting funeral arrangements with bereaved families, directing funerals & memorial services within the funeral home and other locations, organizing all details of planned funerals/memorial services, moving deceased bodies from place of death to funeral home as well within the funeral home, performing embalming and cremations, creating memorial merchandise, writing obituaries, coordinating with cemeteries and third parties.

Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Iowa, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be able to lift heavy loads.
