Funeral Director / Embalmer

We are a family-owned and operated funeral home with 3 locations with 2 in White County, AR. and 1 in nearby Woodruff County, AR. We have been in continuous operation since the 1880s and the current Powell family has owned our funeral homes since 1960. We are seeking a dual-licensed individual to join a close-knit team of men and women who believe in truly serving families. We have been voted best of the best funeral home in White County for 12 consecutive years.

Between our 3 locations, we serve approx. 375 families annually. The ideal candidate must have a passion for funeral service and going the extra mile to serve others. He or she must be willing to rotate on-call time which will consist of every other weekend and a night or two each week. You will be responsible for removals, embalming, arranging and directing funerals, general office duties, coordinating with cemeteries, clergy, and other necessary parties. A general knowledge of computers and office equipment is needed and must have a valid drivers license.
