Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer

Located in Augusta, Georgia, Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors is a high volume family-owned and operated firm that serves as the market leader. We are seeking highly motivated, talented, and outgoing individuals to join our team.

General Duties/Responsibilities:

-Assisting families with planning funeral/memorial services.
-Directing and overseeing funeral/memorial services.
-Embalming and other associates responsibilities.
-No night removals, but directors are still on call on a rotating basis.
-10 days on/4 consecutive days off (includes working every other weekend)
-Willing to be a part of the community and be involved with civic organizations.

Education/Experience/Required Skills:

-Licensed Georgia Funeral Director and Embalmer
-Dually licensed in Georgia/South Carolina preferred.
-Valid Georgia driver’s license.
-Must pass a background check and drug test.
