Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer

We are currently seeking a licensed Funeral Director to work at our family-owned locations in Carteret and Craven Counties, NC. This is a great opportunity to enhance your career, with training and advancement alongside exceptional people.

Responsibilities:

Meet and make funeral/cremation arrangements with families
Completing necessary paperwork in accordance with relevant laws and regulations
Conduct and attend services regularly
Work on-call, one day a week, and every other weekend

Requirements/Qualifications:

Valid North Carolina Funeral Director License and/or the ability to obtain a license in the State of North Carolina within 60 days
Proficient with computers and technology
Ability to manage caseloads while creating an exceptional customer experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills & compassionate care
Active embalming skills
Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

Salary/Benefits:

Annual Salary: $52,000 - $75,000 depending on experience, based on a 40-hour work week.
Vacation - One week after six months of employment, two weeks after one year
Health Insurance, dental, and vision
401K after one year of employment, dollar-for-dollar match up to 6%, and profit sharing
Moving reimbursement up to $2,500
