Funeral Director Apprentice Position

Established Georgia funeral service firm is seeking a candidate wishing to make funeral service a career.  Necessary qualifications are a high school diploma, 1 - 1 ½ years of funeral service experience, working knowledge of computer processing with a proficiency in Microsoft Office. Some experience in crematory operations is highly recommended. Candidates must have a friendly demeanor and the ability to work well with others. Duties include but are not limited to assisting with daily funeral service tasks, making removals from hospitals and other facilities, assisting with the preparation process for family viewing as well as with funeral service ceremonies, greeting friends and family attending services, and interacting with family members to meet specific needs.
