Embalmer / Prep Room Funeral Director

We are looking for a funeral professional who is dedicated to serving our client families through dignified care of their loved one. Our care team directors are responsible for the preparation room operations including, but not limited to embalming, dressing, cosmetics, casketing, and transportation. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in working primarily in the care center with fellow directors and who has a passion for teaching their craft to apprentices. The care team will also interact with families during viewings or cremation witnesses in our in-house viewing and crematory suite, as well as washings and dressings for various cultures whom we are privileged to serve. Care team directors are also responsible for handling trade work for our partners in funeral service across the country, including coordinating ship-outs or transportations across state lines and filing necessary paperwork on the state vital records system.

Pay range typically starts $52,000 - $70,000 based on experience. On call shifts 3 times per month. 401k eligible, health insurance, vacation time, personal time, sick time all available.
