Funeral Director / Embalmer / Apprentice

Family owned funeral home with two locations seeking a funeral director/embalmer to join our team. This position interacts directly with the families we serve and is expected to provide an exceptional level of service.

Requirements: Must have or be able to obtain a North Carolina Funeral Service License. Meet with families to arrange funeral/cremation services. Conducts and assists with funeral/memorial services on a regular basis. Conduct removals from the place of death. Proficient in embalming, cosmetology, and dressing of remains. Strong organizational and time management skills; Self-motivated and has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Valid Driver’s License.
