My name is Brian Muhammad and I am a native of North Carolina. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at North Carolina A&T State University. During my time at NCA&T I had aspirations of becoming an FBI agent, however I discovered I had more of a passion for teaching and learning. Upon completion of my degree I furthered my studies at Clark Atlanta University where I earned a Master of Arts in History Education. I began my teaching career in 2000, initially teaching US History, Economics, and World History Courses. After taking a 3-year hiatus from teaching, I returned in 2008 with a renewed sense of urgency and passion for the adult learner. You could say teaching is in my blood, which I am very passionate about. My passion lies in imparting knowledge to others and watching their growth as learners. As an educator my mission is to have a positive impact on those I am charged with serving.
